Does Mensa membership help?

<p>Hi
Does Mensa membership improve the chances of getting accepted into top schools? Some aspects of the SAT seem to be quite similar to an IQ test. Or would it look "nerdish" on the application? BTW an international student.</p>

<p>I’m guessing it would increase the chance of you getting accepted a little, since I don’t think many students join MENSA.</p>
