Does Michigan State University have an early decision option, and if so, when is the deadline?

I’ve been searching all day but I can’t find any information on early decision at MSU.

I got this (word for word) off of their website:

What is the application deadline?
Michigan State University uses rolling admission, so early application is strongly encouraged. However, the number of qualified applicants has exceeded available space in recent years. For maximum admission and scholarship consideration:
-high school seniors are encouraged to apply between August and November 1 of their senior year.
-transfer students are encouraged to apply six months prior to the desired term of enrollment.
-international students applying for Fall Semester admission are encouraged to apply during the fall of the prior year for maximum consideration. International students applying for Spring Semester admission may begin applying in September before the start of the desired enrollment term.

So basically what this means is that there is no early decision- they have rolling admissions. However, they encourage you to apply early.

I would encourage you to spend more time doing your own research on their website, especially since it seems like MSU is one of your top schools. College Confidential is a very useful tool, but you’ll get even more out of the whole process if you research your schools. Good luck!

They use rolling admissions!
