<p>Depends on what you mean by summer school courses. Some classes are offered in the summer, but I’m pretty sure they’re just for MIT students or people who are allowed to cross-register at MIT (Harvard, Wellesley, etc.).</p>

Both programs are run by ESP ([MIT</a> ESP - Home](<a href=“http://esp.mit.edu%5DMIT”>http://esp.mit.edu)) and you should definitely check them out if you’re planning on being in Boston over the summer. Unfortunately, neither are residential programs as they are geared towards people in the Boston vicinity. There is a small summer school for undergrads, but MIT doesn’t run a high school summer program like Harvard or many other colleges do (coughmilkmoneyoffhighschoolkidscough).</p>
