Does MIT Superscore the ACT?

Sorry if this has already been asked but...

Does MIT superscore the ACT composite?

I get that they ask for the best scores across each section but one "section" is your best composite so i was wondering if your best composite from one test is considered your "ACT score" of if your best composite is recalculated from the best score across each section...

Say "someone" scored:

English: 28, Math: 34, Reading: 34, Science: 29 -- Composite: 31
English: 34, Math: 36, Reading: 28, Science: 35 -- Composite: 33

...on two separate tests.

Superscored:

English: 34, Math: 36, Reading: 34, Science: 35 -- Adjusted Composite: 35

so...

Is the 35 or the 33 considered the actual composite score?

I am mostly curious as to which ACT bracket i fall into in the admissions statistics (whether or not im a '34-36er' or a '30-33er') so i can obsess over my chances in appropriate amounts :P

Thanks for any insight!

Bump… I know this is old but I am wondering the same question so theres no point in starting a new thread

Yes, MIT does superscore - they use “the highest score achieved in each section”.
