Does my CAPP grade counts towards my GPA?

I took CAPP Spanish. Let’s say I get a B. That’s enough to earn the 16 retro credits. Does it count towards my college GPA?

The courses you take while in college at UW-Madison will count for your UW gpa. Just like getting AP credits those retroactive credits will count for your degree but not count in your gpa. Any summer classes you take at another UW campus also may count towards your degree but not your UW-Madison gpa.

PS- what is CAPP? It does not change my answer above.

@wis75 A CAPP class is a dual-enrollment course taken with UW-Oshkosh while still in a high school setting. A B or above (Oshkosh standards) earns 16 retroactive credits towards a Spanish certificate or major in any UW and some others. Anywhere from a D- to a B- gets 5 credits.

Thanks.
