So I recently started my application to Northwestern and had to choose what school I wanted to go to. I know Northwestern has a Kellogg School of business for grads and they have an undergrad business program but are first year students not able to do business then? I couldn’t find business anywhere on the list and was very shocked. Will we have to go to the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences instead and take general courses until I could apply for the business program then?
northwestern doesn’t have a undergraduate business school, so you can take economics and certificates at kellogg to receive the same experience and recruiting.
Why are you shocked? The best schools in the U.S. typically don’t offer undergraduate business degrees.
We have business classes, but no, you cannot be a business major or be a Kellogg student. The amount of certificates we have give you the opportunity to get the same qualifications of a business major at a similar school.
