Does TASP stand out to MIT?

I know TASP is noticeable if you apply to liberal arts colleges or are studying humanities, but would MIT admissions put the same amount of weight / notice it as much? (Especially if the student wants to study humanities at MIT?)

I’d say it isn’t TASP that stands out so much as that the type of student who gets into TASP usually also has the traits top colleges want. And not to put too fine a point on it, but I wouldn’t pick MIT for a non-STEM major. There are better choices.

@collegedream101 - I have to agree with @inparent that MIT might not be the best choice for a humanities person (or so I was told by a humanities prof who teaches there; others have been similarly advised).

And TASP certainly won’t hurt with admissions anywhere
