When you want to attend grad school, especially medical school. Does the college/university you attended make a difference?

I was going to attend a private college instead of my instate school for medical school purposes but then money became a problem and I changed my mind.

The bottom line is that as long as you get great grades and have great credentials and recommendations and grade school entrance scores, you can get into a great program. Do some schools have better sucess placing kids in the most competitive programs? Sure. But one decision won't derail your life plan.
