<p>My school’s Val always has a good SAT. This year it’s a 36 ACT composite score and he’s going to MIT. Sals was like a 2250 and he’s going to Yale. The only exception was like 4 years ago when the 3rd ranked girl got an 1100 something and went to Fordham. Compared to the last couple years where 3rd ranked has gone to Harvard, Northwestern, and Columbia</p>
<p>I’m 6th with a 2340. Our val got a 1990 on the SAT but made up for it with a 35 ACT. I dunno what 2-5 have exactly, but I know one of them has a 2300 on the SAT. I agree that the val/sal are the hardest workers, not necessarily the most intelligent, but any other correlation is tentative besides (occasionally an outstandingly brilliant, hardworking, and conscientious val comes through and blows everyone out of the water).</p>

<p>Our valedictorian this year is going to Barnard College and our valedictorian last year went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Our salutatorian this year is going to St. Lawrence University and our salutatorian last year went to UNC-Chapel Hill. I joined the school only two years ago, so that’s the only data I have. I am not sure what their SAT/ACT scores were though.</p>
