<p>He's a junior who's getting above average grades but not the best grades(rank somewhere around top 17% in his school, although his grades improved quite a bit this year, gettings A/A+'s in AP chemistry, stats, BC calculus, will mostly likely get 5's on these AP's). He is not very good at english and therefore he doesn't do well on SAT's (getting scores barely >2100, but he'll take it again in June). As for EC's, he's a 2 time USAMO qualifier, consistently place in top 20 for past three years in the statewide math competitions(got 3rd in state this year), and he is on the school math team, the ARML team(he got a 7 last year), etc...</p>
<p>Does this person have any chance of getting accepted into caltech?</p>
