Does this qualify as an "honour" for the Common App?

<p>One of my achievements has been receiving the Award of Excellence in a national poetry competition.
Does this qualify as an ACADEMIC honour that I can list in the "honours" section of the Common App?</p>

<p>I would list it too - I am listing a poetry award as well. I think that if it’s not an award you won in an extracurricular listed on the “activities” page, you should list it.</p>
