<p>Do you lot have to take them when you come back from break? That always struck me as extraordinarily counterproductive: "hey, kids, let's give you a few weeks to forget everything we've taught you and then give you important tests over it!" My school system has always given us finals/midterms just before break.</p>
<p>I dont understand how you people can slack off? I thought adminission officers request your second semester grades? Ive heard that if they'e too bad your acceptance gets withdraw-d</p>

<p>I KNOW, it's awesome possum! :D What sucks is that now I have to get ready for IB tests (and others for their AP tests).</p>

well apparently you've never taken an AP class before.
after AP exams, the class is cake. no final, no more work.</p>
<p>I for one was cackling about not having any more high school exams ever. Seniors are exempt from spring exams provided they either have an A in the class or they miss no more than 5 days in the class. </p>

No final? Not even the score you get on the AP exam? I read about someone here whose final grade was based on the AP test.. I didn't envy her.</p>
