Don't know half of the material in Math IIC...Should I still go for it?

I don't know matrices, coordinate geometry, 3d geometry...and a few other things
I know trig well and sort of know log...
And I have 24 potential days to study for it...
BUT I won't be able to take it any other time...sooo

Can’t you take it in October if you are a junior?

I’m taking my SAT a 3rd time.

Hello?

If you’re a junior, you should be able to take the subject tests in October or November next year…if you only sort of understand logarithms and don’t understand a lot of the pre-calculus topics, you probably aren’t ready for Math II yet.

If you absolutely have to take Math II this May, then you may want to get a textbook soon and learn the topics.

How much statistics is in the Math II test? My class didn’t get much to that stuff, and I’m not sure if I’ll have the firmest grasp on it reviewing and studying off of Barron’s.

Some basic probability and combinatorics, mostly. There was one question where I had to construct a regression. Other than that I don’t recall any more advanced statistics topics.

Not May, June. But I’m taking Biology SAT and AP before May 13th.
So essentially I have from 14th to June 6th.
I can’t take it in October because I wanna take SATs a 3rd time, because I can study during the summer.

No, don’t take it unless you’re prepared. It’ll look pretty bad if you get a low score on the math test with an easier curve.

Yea that’s true, I’ve already ordered the books so I’ll see how it is.
When else should I take it then? I’m applying through Questbridge and they don’t take tests after October.
I am already taking Biology Subject test and I’ve taken another one and scored an 800 but that was a language test…
Some colleges want Math lvl 2.

I can take SATs a 3rd time in June but the point of me taking in Oct is to study during the summer…so I can see a 100+ points improvement.

Hello?
I have an TI84, is that good enough or should I get a TI89?

TI-84 is fine.

Ok, I’m not so sure if I should take it but I NEED TO.

If you need to take it, then you should take it.

Yea but I don’t know half of the info lol.

Then quit complaining and start studying!

Btw, some of the Math II topics are only tested at a very basic level. For example, for matrices, you pretty much only need to know that a matrix is an array of numbers, and you can add/subtract matrices of the same size, and how to multiply matrices. Math II doesn’t expect you to know anything about determinants or their properties, eigenvectors, or diagonalization.

Lol ■■■!
XD well I know Laws of Sines, and a lot of the trig identities

I can’t study now because I have SAT Bio on May 3rd and AP Bio on May 12th, then I’ll study really hard for Math level 2…

The Barron’s math level 2 has a diag test in the beginning but I can’t take it since I don’t know half of the stuff, should I still try to take it? Or should I look at the official guide first?
