<p>Of course,we now know that this is an outright lie. The student said she had sex with him, consensually, and that she was, shall we say, unimpressed with him as a partner. Period.</p>

<p>Looks like the real question might be why he was suspended at all. (Not to mention why HE was charged with an alcohol violation and she wasn’t, despite admitting she was drinking…) </p>
<p>I am very, very concerned about the problem of sexual assault on campus. But stirring up a lynch mob against an accused person who may be innocent of anything other than being sexually involved with a person who may not have been emotionally prepared to embark on any sexual relationship is not right, and will not help actual victims.</p>

<p>Looking through that list it seems to me that all it proves is that reporting standards vary wildly.</p>
