<p>With the exception of last years class which managed to hack the room mate system, when are dorm and room mate assignments usually made known?</p>

<p>Last year’s class didn’t actually hack the roommate system. They just combined (a) the list of phone numbers for students with (b) the Cygnet which let them figure out which phone numbers were associated with specific dorm rooms.</p>
