Dorm room dimensions

<p>I just got my housing assignment today (yay) and they posted room dimensions, but I don't really know how big the room is.</p>

<p>It's a suite with two rooms and a bathroom. I share a room with another girl.</p>

<p>It's 10'6" wide and 10'13" long (<--direct quote, I'm not sure why it's not 11 feet and 1 inch.)</p>

<p>How spacious is this? I'm not planning on bringing a lot of stuff anyway and we get a desk, chair, bed (obvs), and dressers. I don't know if a closet is included in that as I've never seen the dorms at the school (and they only post one picture of the outside of the building).</p>

<p>My bedroom right now is 10x10x9 (exactly). To fit 2 beds and 2 desks in that room is going to be bloody tight. I’m assuming bunk beds otherwise I doubt there would be any available floor spe.</p>

<p>It’s a little tight, but you should be able to make it work, since you’re not bringing a lot of stuff.</p>

<p>It seems pretty average size to me. You should have a “closet”, or a place for hangers, that may not be enclosed (thus I guess it’s not a closet, but I don’t know they name). It’s probably better to ask in your school’s forum.</p>
