<p>My daughter is trying to find out how the freshmen dorms are at WPI. We went on the tour and saw what at least one of the rooms look like. Any thoughts? One better than another. Looks like one of the meal plans gives one access to more than one cafeteria. Is it worth the extra money?</p>
<p>The freshman dorms are fine - very roomy for doubles. My son is in Morgan - a double converted to a triple. With the furniture in the room, it had enough space for three large guys. This term one of the three moved to another dorm, so my son and the other roommate (the two messiest!) now have more space to spread their clutter. S likes Morgan due to proximity to the dining hall (1st floor). As for the meal plan, I’d advise to keep it simple. Odds are your daughter will be closest to the Morgan dining hall (unless she will be in Institute).</p>
<p>The larger meal plans aren’t usually worth the extra money. Most people on the 19-a-week or “Premium” meal plan do not finish all the meals and have money wasted. I have found the 190 meal plan to be more than sufficient.</p>
