So I found a roommate, and we both are really interested in getting a suite. Our favorite building so far is Bryan, given its modern feel and from positive stuff we’ve heard. How hard is it to get a suite at Colgate as a freshman? Is Bryan a popular building?
Freshmen are housed together on the Hill in Residential Colleges and I am not clear that Bryan is an option. May I suggest that you and your future roommate contact the Office of Residential Life who make these assignments and ask about dorms such as Andrews, Curtis and Stillman with suites as well as the traditional dorms such as East and West.
I am full of anticipation for you as I remember much of what led up to my own freshman year. Immerse yourselves in everything that’s available once you buckle down with your classes. And make every minute count!
Best of luck and success at the 'gate!
I am on campus now and have learned that Bryant houses one of the four residential commons residences.
So by all means request Bryant in your preference form to Residential Life.
Go 'gate!
