Hey y’all
Anybody know what the process is to double major in 2 different faculties, like the Engineering and the Arts? it is even possible at McGill??
I love the humanities and architecture (which is not in the Arts Faculty but the Engineering Faculty) equally. I don’t know which one I should commit myself to. DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY MAY 1st
Thanks!!
Hi, I don’t think McGill offer a double major between Engineering and Art Faculties. However, McGill has other double majors combo such as for sciences, science & art and Management & art.
I don’t believe it’s possible to do so. With most engineering programs at McGill, it’s hard enough to graduate in 4 years as it is. If you’re potentially interested in both, then I would just go engineering and if you don’t feel it after your 1st year, then transfer into arts since it’s much much easier to internally transfer from engineering to arts than the other way around.
