My main major is biomedical engineering and i want to study double major with management. Will it be benefit for my business life?

That is really hard to say without knowing what you intend to do with your degree. Generally speaking, it can’t hurt to take classes. If you find them to be worthless or consuming too much time, you can always switch focus to your primary major.

Do you plan on doing an MBA? or a PhD?

Yes i have plan to do MBA. I have to decide in this week what can i do for double majoring . thank you for information .

Specifically for Rice, there isn’t a biomedical engineering major. There are “bioengineering” (Department of Bioengineering | Rice University) and “chemical and biomolecular engineering” (http://chbe.rice.edu/) majors that students who would take biomedical engineering at other schools take at Rice. Especially the CHBE majors are known for their rigorous curriculum, but some brave and hardworking souls do double major. So if you feel up to the challenge (more a matter of work ethic than raw intelligence), then I think it would look really good for an MBA. Plus, most top-tier MBA programs require a couple of years of work experience after college, so it may be helpful when you are searching for jobs!

I thought that I will take management and biomedical engineering diploma and after graduate i will master of biomedical engineering, but this week some friends say that MBA with graduate of biomedical engineering is better than your idea. I do not know what will I do. Thank you jfking01 , I will think your idea.
