<p>Is it possible for a pre-med student to double major in say something where some of their pre-med classes will be (bio, chem, biochem, etc) and something unrelated? or how about a major in a hard science and a minor in an unrelated area?</p>
<p>It is definitely possible. Just realize that you will have less time for electives.</p>
<p>I graduated from college as a chemistry and religious studies double major. I did all the pre-med requirements and had a lot of extra curricular activies. I volunteered all four years, held leadership positions and worked in a lab at the CDC. You can really do it if you want to.</p>
