Double Major

What I’m saying is you can reduce the amount of classes you need to take for engineering if you place out of physics/math/etc. I’m not saying you can reduce the amount of credits you need for LSA.

RageRoolz,

I would like to get a Masters in Computer Science.

And thanks for the clarification QwertyKey.

There is no reason to do Computer Science and Computer Engineering. You can do Math and Computer Science under LSA and still have room to take some hardware courses you like. A dual degree in CS and Computer Engineering doesn’t make you more marketable.

giants, I was talking about 295 (also known as Honors Math), which is a freshman course, and is introductory analysis. It also counts for 451.

Oh, I see – I was talking about the honors concentration, to which I believe he was referring.

So to get an econ minor would I need the 90 LSA credits?

^No, only for a major.

Would I just need the 26 or however many for the minor, and not the extra for a total of 90?

^Yes.

Basically in Engineering, getting a minor is exactly like getting a minor in LSA. It’s only different when you try to major in an LSA major.

Thanks so much!
