My wish/plan is to double major in Evolutionary Biology and Biomedical Engineering at Case. I couldn't find any restrictions on their website about double majoring and I know most schools have them. Are there any? Thanks.

i dont have any answers for you but i do have a question. why are you planning on double major those two majors? BME alone is extremely work intensive, why add evolutionary biology, too?

Double majors are definitely allowed and are common…although I can’t speak to the one you are referencing…I suggest you email the depts. involved and ask your question there.

It seems like evolutionary biology has to be a second major (you can’t just major in evolutionary biology on its own), so I don’t imagine you’d have any problems?

The only thing restricting your ability to take multiple majors at Case is time. BME is one of the hardest majors at Case, but it’s still doable to add a second major. Evolutionary biology seems relatively easy to add since there aren’t too many requirements (see link posted above) and some classes will probably overlap with the BME curriculum. Just be ready to work hard, it won’t be easy.
