Hello,
Does anyone have a precise idea of how difficult is it to double major across divisions? I want to double major in Political Science from A&S and Marketing from Olin (and potentially pick up another minor from A&S)… Of course, through email, Wash U officials have told me that it is totally doable, but I am curious about how realistically feasible it is (I plan to graduate in 4 years). Can anyone here speak from experience or share any anecdotes from others in similar positions?
It’s extremely common and easy. I’m a student at Wash U.
@thebunny Thank you for the reply. If you don’t mind, might I ask which majors you combined, and if you had to take any extra courses throughout the school year or breaks?
I decided not to double major, but only to avoid taking intro lectures. It’s very common and generally people do not have to take extra courses on breaks. During the school year you can take 12-21 credits, and if you average 15 credits per semester you will graduate in eight semesters. You don’t have to max out on credits to double major.
