Double Transfer -- Yes, No, Maybe So?

Hey, everyone. I would greatly appreciate some advice for my situation. Last school year, I attended William & Mary, but unfortunately, I became sick during the second semester (Spring 2011) and had to take a medical leave. Toward the end of the summer, college officials at W&M informed me that I would need to take this semester (Fall 2011) off before I can apply for "medical clearance," the process in which I demonstrate that I am fit to go back. Because I wanted to continue taking classes this semester, I am currently enrolled in three courses at a local four-year institution as a visiting student and am taking two classes at community college.

The problem is that next semester I have the option of going back to W&M, but I really don't want to. Although W&M is a great school, it was very unsatisfying socially, so I have decided that I want to transfer. This leads me to my ultimate question: Would it look bad if I were to transfer into the local four-year institution that I am currently at as a visiting student for next semester (Spring 2012) and then transfer out again? Thanks, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
