It helped me. My advice is to be patient with it. The tests are much harder than the actual SAT, so dont time the first few. Instead take your time and look at the explanation for each question. When you start to improve, move toward timing the practice tests. Also, take as many as you can. Then move on to the college board tests.

The tips can be difficult to understand. Ask a parent or friend to look at any that you dont understand

This book brought me from a 670 to a 780 but you have to use it properly. You have to go through all the tips and understand each one. If you take time on each tip, you’re set. Do the practice problems that follow each tip and know why you got a problem wrong. After you’re done with the 50 tips, then it’s time to practice. I didn’t bother timing myself cause the tests are WAY harder than the actual SAT, but you can if you want. Again, you have to know why you got a question wrong. The explanations are helpful but some can be vague. Overall this book is great though, worked for me, and I only used it for about a month.

I got discouraged too because I kept scoring around 630-680 on the practice tests so I didn’t really see any progress. But on the actual SAT, everything seemed a lot easier. These tests are a lot harder than the actual SAT.

yeah same…except im getting 600-620s on the dr chung practice tests…some of the questions are extremely hard.
