I plan on taking Drafting Design at Grambling State University after I graduate from high school next year in May. One thing that I'm not sure of, however, is which discipline/elective to take. The ones that I'm interested in are Structural Drafting & Design, Pipe Drafting & Design, Tool Design Drafting, Architectural Design Drafting, Machine Drafting & Design and Reinforced Concrete Design. What can you tell me about each one of them? How stressful are they? How difficult would it be to not only get but maintain a job with them? Would it be possible for me to take my career to other countries such as Japan, China, Korea, etc? How demanding are the jobs involving these individual disciplines? Do they usually call for more than a 50 hour work week or less? Do people with these careers get vacations from work?

Also, Drafting Design Technology is a four-year course at Grambling. Look at this curriculum.

This seems like high school all over again. I'm very annoyed by all of these extra classes that I'll have to take. Wha do you all have to say about me taking four years to get a degree as opposed to two? What's this I hear about college degrees being worth less than they used to?
