Dreams?

wow, I looked up the katamari opening. It was a bit like my dream (black starry sky and rainbows) except for the giraffes and pandas and mushrooms and weed. Lol, though that was weird.

Haha, yeah, it’s a fairly quirky/trippy game. One of the best for the PS2 imo.

And I too looked up the intro (I was going to post it in here, but since you’ve already looked it up I won’t), but my memory seems to be fuzzy and it didn’t actually have what I was thinking of. Anyways, the king regularly vomits a rainbow on to you at the end of each level, and that rainbow teleports you back to the base world. I’m certain he did it in a few cutscenes, too, but I can’t remember which.

I chopped someone to death into pieces with an axe and then threw their remains out the kitchen window. The remains were kept out of sight, by the bushes that surround my apartments. Well, hate is murder right? I felt really strange when I woke up the next morning, because it was the most brutal dream I ever had.

my bizzare dream was about me going to work on my bike and then i started to fly… lol stupid dream… but really it was like a nightmare, cuz when i woke up i was sweating and had lots of adrenaline in my blood, that i literally could feel flowing. lol

Thats odd because most of my dreams I’m aware i’m dreaming but I can’t control any of my actions. In all honesty most of my dreams resemble SAW, Silent Hill, and grudge mashups with a copious amount of people (including me) dying.

…and i’m perfectly sane too

^haha. Yes. Perfectly sane :]

At least I hope so…because a lot of my dreams are similar to yours. In most of them I’m just continually running from someone and I almost always awaken to the realization that I’m dreaming. But as soon as I realize it, my dream suddenly zooms in (everything becomes crystal clear and real) and then it zooms out…and I wake up.

haha. This reminds me, I just bought the book on lucid dreaming. It’s so interesting (although a little nervewrecking…haha). I like how it ties in science instead of just presenting lucid dreams as a mystical dimension that mere mortals cannot intrude upon.

It’s weird, but after I read that book, I began having a lot more dreams (or maybe I just remembered more of them…) and I noticed that in a lot of them I began to “wake up”…
Sadly none of them have lasted long enough for me to do something absurd…

many of my dreams are realistic, so i often get them mixed up with reality. it actually started a fight with my best friend once.

haha really?

A few of my dreams are realistic enough to confuse me. There was this one dream I had over winter break where my Spanish teacher announced to our class that our TA died. And when I went back to class I was genuinely very very very surprised to see him there. It was weird. I totally forgot about my dream until I saw the TA…I just assumed that he was dead…

haha woooww, my dreams never convinced me that someone was dead, thank god !
but once I got written up at work because I had a dream that my manager cancelled my shift, and naturally I didnt show up. my manager didnt believe me :(

I can usually remember a dream for a day or two, but it’s always the one I have right before I wake up and start my day.

Recently I had a dream where I was on the ground, fighting with this guy who had a gun. But I was feeling really sluggish, and I couldn’t move fast enough, so he shot me in the head. Or rather, I heard the shot and jolted awake immediately afterward. It was so weird, because I had that sinking feeling in my stomach - I imagine the kind you get when someone points a gun at your face and starts pulling the trigger.

And last night, I dreamed that one of my grade-school friends was about 9 months pregnant (and I didn’t know about it until that moment). Then she had the baby, who she named Alexa. A fact I vividly remember.

Last night I don’t remember what was happening, but I was in a car and suddenly there was gunfire. I tried to get down but for some reason my body refused to so I was kind of exposed. I didn’t get shot though (I did once in a dream, right in the head - I thought I had died).

This reminds me of another similar dream I had a while back. I was in a car and at the intersection of Westwood and Santa Monica (going down Westwood FWIW) when suddenly terrorists in a pickup truck came along Santa Monica with machine guns blazing. They then stayed in the intersection shooting as I tried to duck.

Damn, I want Michael Bay dreams like that, ThisCouldBeHeavn.

My most vivid, remembered dream:

I was in some kind of European courtyard, the kind with the stone cobbled roads, with a picturesque fountain in the middle. Everywhere I walked, there were these red subway entrances. When I walked down one of them, there was a small, gray sanded shore that stretched for a moderate, 3-room sized distance across but was only about 10-15 m to the shoreline. The water was like an underground ocean, that stretched far enough that I couldn’t tell where the end was. The water itself was perfectly still, no waves, no ripples, or anything. Near the middle of the small shore was a pier/dock, with a single rowboat attached. This girl I knew from school, that I had ambivalent feelings for, was goading me to go with her to the other side. I got in the boat, with a feeling of deep dread (first time I ever really felt emotion in a dream), and when we started rowing, there were no ripples or anything in the water. The rowboat just “glided” along the water. I woke up after a few seconds of rowing, with perfect memory of the dream, and wondering what the hell it was. (I don’t usually have arcane, abstract dreams like that)

Any psychoanalysts/dream-interpreters in the house? :P

this thread ftw, plus it ironically has Fairy’s dreams, and a long post by Moodrets

I had a dream that my freshmen year religion teacher was teaching my current math class, and the math teacher was very amused.

I also had a dream in where I was in London. Though I wasn’t doing much of anything except walking around.

I’m a noob. what does this mean?

I barley ever have dreams (… meaning I just don’t remember them, right?). When I do have (remember my) dreams they are soooo weird.

ditto.
I actually had a dream last night. Tiger Woods was playing golf, and I was watching, and then I randomly got punched in the face, and I got really mad, and Tiger said how he got punched in the face once too. It was weird

^I once became lucid in my dream when I was just about to punch someone.

Tiger probably got punched by his wife.

lol I’m surprised it actually involved his golf life rather than his non-golf life
