Anyone know how hard it is to get a co-op opportunity as an international and how much approx it pays? And also, can do on campus jobs? Do they pay well?
I was very excited on joining drexel but cant afford even though I got 40k worth scholarship/grant :frowning:

Co-ops are open for all Drexel students who apply. Do you mean a co-op job outside of the US? The amount you get paid depends on your field of study, just like in regular employment. There are some that you don’t even get paid…
My D is starting her first coop as a chemistry major, I believe she is getting $13/hr

@mommabear67 Thanks for the link. I never saw that info before. My D’s major says *Less than 50% of co-op positions in this program were paid. It’s a good reality check and sets expectation about her profession if that’s the path she pursues.

@bbh5692 Yes, you can room with non-honors students. However, if you live in the honors living learning community in Millennium Hall (floors 12-17), you must live with another honors student.

Should I be worried that I haven’t gotten my decision yet? International student

@classof2017345 No, I didn’t get mine too but I think they have posted they decisions now. I’d also emailed them about this some time ago, and they said that my application entered for review late and hence the decision will take time. I can’t login to the portal but if I access the portal through the enrollment site, my decision is posted but it is asking me to logout and login again, which isn’t working.
