haah chill i got mmine

Sent a "no thanks" to Drexel program over week-end. Hope this gets a "waiting list" candidate into program. All who have more than one acceptance should be letting schools they don't select know so that waiting listed candidates can get in.

what is drexel/drexel like? how hard? social life? etc...

I got my reply pretty late (def. after April 1). Chill out, sickofflorida. By the way, I visited UMiami's campus for their med program. You'd trade sunny Florida for icky cold Philly? I think you're crazy!

Oh, and I think my interview went well. In all honesty, I think that's where I shone, because my interviewer was very sweet and approachable.

Have you heard back yet?

Hey

This was one of the main questions people asked when I interviewed. You are considered for each program, but you have one application. What it does do is give you a chance in case they fill up slots in one of them. If you get into multiple, awesome! I applied to one and got in - dont know how acceptances work.. its prolly like as if it were multiple programs

By the way...are any of you watching ABC's "Back on Campus"? It's about parents rooming with their kids for a term at college, and it happens to have been filmed at Drexel. It airs Saturday nights. Maybe you guys should watch that to get a sense of what the school is like. As a student at Drexel, I can tell you that it's carefully edited to look more like a traditional University, when in fact it is not. Most upperclassmen do not live on campus and are away for half of the year on Co-op. The University historically had a Vocational School feel, although they've been trying really hard to get away from that.

yea i'm watching.. are you a student or to-be student?

I'm a freshman.

cool. in the bs/md? if so, can you give me a glimpse of activities to watch for (especially medical stuff)?
