Drexel University- CLass of 2018 (accepted/Rejected)

Hi, Did anyone who applied to Drexel get a decision yet? - and Can you post your stats along with your decision when you do find out. -- Thank you

I have not! But I’m waiting on my EA decision.

I’m still waiting for mine. I don’t like how they haven’t given us a date.

I’m waiting on EA. Hopefully soon.

I am still waiting for EA. Hopefully it shouldn’t be more than another week or so.

Their website just says EA-I decisions mid-December and EA-II released mid-January

Well, it’s mid-December!

Mid-December is so vague, isn’t it?

I know. Most schools have given dates as to when the decisions come out already

nervous!! Im excited ! has anyone visited the campus?

I’ve visited it briefly (just walked through the streets a little, not an actual tour) but I would love to hear someone’s opinion who had a more thorough look at the campus.

Does anyone have any input on the campus area (even though many say there isn’t exactly a campus just buildings)?

I hear there isn’t any grass area at all…is that true? I saw a little…but is there any place where you can just sit on the grass on a nice day ?

@azar12,
I saw some! I don’t remember where, but there’s definitely grass haha. The campus is gorgeous but I’ve read that Drexel spends a LOT of money on constant renovations/new buildings and that’s a little shady to me, because I don’t think that’s necessary.

They are right, it’s not on it’s own campus - the buildings are scattered but all fairly close to each other. Nothing further than 20 minutes walking. It looks really safe, like they take the time to pay attention to safety which is comforting.

It’s really pretty, yellow and blue all over that little section of the city. Overall, it’s nice and clean.

@martynajl
Thanks! Hahah yeah they put a lot of money into the renovations, but I mean I’ve seen so many schools do the same thing so I guess that can’t be helped. Schools just love unnecessary spending.

Yeah I remember the building situations too. They were scattered but at the same time somewhat contained, which is nice. You get the urban vibe but you aren’t completely lost in the city.

Ugh so impatient with these decisions T.T

My aunt works at Drexel, maybe she can get them to speed up the process lol

My son applied EA1, and the Admissions office told me that all EA1 decisions would be coming out on Dec-17, including an estimate on the $ …Haven’t seen or heard that anywhere else, but that’s what we’re counting on…7 more days

So while we’re waiting… anyone in the Northeast get a snow day?

Schools like to release decisions on Friday after 5:00 pm (when the staff is already gone and there is no one that has to field any irate phone calls).

If they say Monday, December 17, then my guess would be Friday, December 13, in the evening. (They don’t want to tell you that decisions will be released on Friday because they know if they did then their phones would be ringing nonstop on Friday with “I heard decisions are coming out today, but I haven’t gotten mine yet.”)

Oversell and under-promise

Yes on the snow day!!

I’m still waiting for my response as well. I think we’ll find out December 15th along with the majority of other schools who are sending out their early action results
