<p>This year a multiple schools across the country have been extremely unpredictable! So don’t let yourself down. I got rejected from six schools including Drexel and accepted to only one. So don’t sweat it.

I think me applying as an engineering major here may have ruined my chances. The only reason I had applied to Drexel was because I had received a free application. </p>
<p>Hi everyone, I had an account but I forgot the login information, so I created a new one. That’s why I haven’t posted anything. Now that I’m past that. I applied to Drexel EA2. I was deferred…and like most of you, I was unfortunately wait listed. I applied to the (very selective) architecture program. However, I was accepted to the much more prestigious Syracuse University, University of Minnesota, as well as Temple, Miami (Ohio), CUA, and LSU- all into their architecture programs, so I too got into much better universities. Don’t quote me, but I heard from someone that Drexel got a record number of applications, so its not just us</p>
<p>Btw, I have a 3.64 unweighted GPA, 3.8 weighted GPA, 25 ACT, great recommendations (so I’ve been told) and a great essay. </p>
<p>If this were to be an April Fools joke, then shame on Drexel. This isn’t funny. </p>
<p>Btw, did anyone get an email telling them to check their portal, or did you just check it, knowing that a decision would be coming- that’s what I did. But when I was deferred I did receive an email. </p>
<p>Even though Drexel is considered to be a “better” school, I liked Temple a lot more…just saying </p>

<p>@wk95676 I was wait listed and looks like many others were as well. maybe it’s a mistake or something…? some reason I feel like decisions weren’t really made and just wait listed people until finished. I don’t think I have seen any rejection in this or other threads</p>
<p>From the way it sounds, based on the portal, a lot of people applied, more than they expected, and they need to figure out what to do. Since it sounds like quite a few people here are more than qualified, so they have the waitlist until they can straighten things out. They said by April 1, and no colleges waits until that day, in the afternoon, so who knows. I guess we have to wait and see…</p>

<p>It just seems really weird. All of the sudden everyone’s waitlisted? I’ve only seen a few acceptances today and no rejections at all for RD. Something just seems off… </p>
<p>Was so surprised to see all these waitlists. Just checked and actually got accepted for music industry, but probably not going to end up attending after getting into NYU Steinhardt. Hopefully this opens up a spot for one of you. </p>
