Drexel University- CLass of 2018 (accepted/Rejected)

Got in with $14.5k. 36ACT, 4.36WGPA, OK ECs. The problem is that I accidentally selected international studies instead of economics… I really need to see what I’m submitting in the future! Should I call them and tell them about this, or just roll with it until it comes time to mail a deposit somewhere?

Has anyone not received a decision yet? I haven’t :(

Accepted to the College of Business! With the Five-year coop program and $14k scholarship!

(Don’t plan on going to Drexel, but just ecstatic to be in the five year program!)

Accepted to Arts and Sciences but denied from 7 year MD program… (did get into the honors college though). With the rejection effects wearing off from Cornell this might be a nice avenue to explore. Hoping to get some more information about the honors college and its research opportunities.

Good luck everyone!

I got 14k for a grant… I guess @illiriks notable GPA and ACT score got him to the next tier! Congrats!

mamalis- I got bumped to regular decision. I’ve sent them an email asking exactly what this means taking into account the rumor and that I haven’t seen anyone accepted to the program. I’m applying to Music Industry as my first choice and my stats are pretty good. I can get into the school no problem, its just the program. Its literally harder to get into then med school. 11,000 applicants for 56 seats. That crazy. I flew out to see the campus and scheduled an interview with the guy who is co-captain with admission decisions over fall break and I thought it went very well. I think what might be happening is that they are waiting to see all of the applicants before choices are made (putting scholarship priority to early app folks such as ourselves). I will be calling him tomorrow as the office is still open and will post a response.

I applied EA for music industry and was accepted

Got in with a $20,000 scholarship! Has anyone heard about the accelerated programs, more specifically the medical one? Or do you know when we find out…

ACCEPTED TO Lebow college of Business! with AJ Drexel Scholarship (15000K)
I am an international student
I also received a letter from Drexel about applying for Global Scholar
Does anyone know about this scholarship?

Congrats to all you guys!!

unfortunately for me when i submitted on the common app i made the mistake of clicking RD instead of EA… Hopefully April swings around fast :)

Accepted for chemistry with 12k! Soo excited! Congrats to everyone!

Accepted into Engineering/Honors! I got a scholarship from AJ Drexel, but I’m also a National Merit Semifinalist and I think Drexel gives out full rides to NMFs - hopefully I’m promoted to Finalist standing.

Accepted into the game design program. Totally stoked as Drexel is my first choice. Scholarship for 11,500. Was hoping for a better merit and cost is going to be a stretch. Anyone have experience going back to admissions and explaining why you feel you deserve a better reward?

Accepted with a $10,000 scholarship from AZ!

Daughter was accepted, Film/Screenwriting major, Pennoni Honors College, $19,000 AJ Drexel scholarship.

Accepted into Game Design and Production
Antoinette Westphal COMAD college.
$13,000 AJ Drexel Scholarship.

Those accepted into honors college, did you guys apply with your application? I didn’t apply and I don’t see anything about honors college. I got 13k Aj scholarship

iheartbass42, I do know two students from my daughter’s school (an arts high school) who were accepted into the Music Industry program - they got their notifications yesterday.

Good luck!

Got in for School of Engineering with $10,500 scholarship.

Got in with 14k AJ Drexel, and a 6.5k Drexel Endowed grant
