hi everyone! I’m a high school senior and I’ve been accepted into Chapman University and Drexel University for direct entry physician assistant studies. Drexel is great because of the co-op, the fact that the GRE is not required, and instead of 6 years, its 5.25 years. Chapman is great because of the small class sizes and the campus/location. Between these choices, does anyone have any thoughts on which is the best option for a future career as a PA?
Aside from PA, I’ve also been admitted into Boston University to study health sciences and Pepperdine University to study sports medicine. I’m in love with Boston; it’s definitely the highest ranked of my options, and it’s a great location if I want to pursue a career in healthcare. However, I did hear about grade deflation there so if anyone has had any experience with that, I’d love to hear about it. Pepperdine University would be great for a really personalized education since it’s so small…maybe a little too small?
I’m having trouble deciding which school I should attend, so if anyone has any information on any of these schools, that would be greatly appreciated! All thoughts are welcome thanks!
Hey! I can’t really speak for many of the schools you’re considering, but I had a good friend who went to Pepperdine. She loved it; beautiful campus (and I mean amazing campus, if you’ve ever watched Zoey 101 you know lol) but it was very religious, so not sure if you’re into that. She also didn’t really love how it was small as you noted, and she did meet a lot of rich, preppy kids from California (we’re from the northeast), so some things to consider about Pepperdine, goodluck!
