For me, I want to apply colleges/universities in Canada. However, I am a Taiwanese student study in Guam, and I have America residence AND Canada passport. Should I apply as an international student, or Canada? More importantly, what are the “waves” of applications and acceptances? Does that mean to upload the Senior grade (to me, my school ends around May 22). What should I do about it, such as the general deadlines for Vancouver Island University, langara college, Vancouver Community College, capilano university, Columbia University. Lastly, what kind of English certify test if I apply as an international student.
My guess only: I think Canadian unis will give preference to Cdn citizens over internationals. If there is any limit, it’ll be to the international pool before any domestic applicant pool.
You need to contact each school (after carefully reading their web sites for whatever information they provide on-line) and ask these questions. Agree with T26E4, but that is only a guess and guesses aren’t good enough here.
Won’t the price for a Canadian university be a lot be cheaper for Canadian nationals?
Also, does anyone know what kind of English proficiency tests I need to take? Does Sat or Act fits the catagory since I am cannot take either ToFEL (not longer an ESL) or BC English tests in Vancouver. Also, what exactly a rolling admission work in Vancouver college/universities. Is that apply the GPA later submit the online application deadline?
