Dual Enrollment Transcript

I am a dual enrollment student currently enrolled in a course. I will be sending out my applications over the next few weeks and I know I need to send my transcripts from college. My question is this: my current course will not be finished when I send the transcripts, so will I need to send an updated transcript later? The current semester doesn't end until December.

Also, this is my first post, so hello everyone!

Hi and welcome to CC!

I would say to send a transcript now IF you are applying rolling/ED/EA AND you have previous college coursework on your transcript.

If you are applying RD, I think you can wait until the current semester is over and send your final grades.

Thanks for the input. I took two courses my junior year.

I am applying EA for those colleges which offer it. With this in mind, should I send the transcript to those schools now, and send a transcript to the RD schools later?

Yes, because you want the EA schools to be able to see your jr yr courses w/grades.

By the time this semester is over it will be too late for the EA schools to see your current grades, but the RD schools will just be starting to look at applications in Jan, so that will be a good time to send them your final transcript with grades through this semester.

Of course, I’m assuming your college grades are good ;).

I currently have straight A’s in my college courses, so I have no fear sending them. Thanks for the help!
