@JenniferClint: Thank you for posting this link. Absolutely wonderful bar chart graph ! (The bar chart would have been even more interesting if each school’s total undergraduate enrollment was noted below each university name.)
The accompanying article notes significant decreases in applications to Princeton & Cornell. A slight decrease at MIT.
Also noteworthy is that despite receiving more applications, Northwestern University’s overall rate of admission increased for the first time in a decade–from 8.4% to 8.9%. Might result in an increase in applications next cycle.
@Publisher Agreed. That should be a great link to quote any time someone asks about top school application numbers. Too bad they don’t have Stanford.
