So I got the acceptance letter and I looked all over the letter and even the website and I saw no mention of a tuition deposit. Does anyone know how much the deposit costs? It's a concern to my family due to waitlists. Is there possibly no financial deposit necessary? (yay?)

I don't think there is one..I was looking for it too, but it seems that you simply have to mail in the reply card that comes with the acceptance packet

In the folder they sent you, Duke explicitly says that it doesn't require a deposit :)

Wow. Shows who's read the info in the packet :D

That's okay, I was wondering the same thing.

yeah, last year there was no deposit. :)

but you shouldn't choose a school based on the amount of money needed for a deposit...obviously...though duke would be a great choice. :)

Haha, Duke was my first major acceptance - I had to read the packet to make sure it was all real, lol.

Why I have not received any package yet as an admitted student?

i haven't received anything yet too (but I'm international)... i guess it depends on where you live.
