Duke ED

<p>Hey i was on dukes website the other day and it said that if you apply ED to there university that you have to go to duke. duke is my first choice so i would have no problem with this except what if you cant afford it can you with draw and go somewhere else? any body know more about this i apprecitate all the help i can get </p>

<p>That's true- ED is binding; EA and RD are not. (This is true of every school.) Supposedly, if you can prove that you can't afford to go based on the financial aid they give you, you can get out of it. The issue is that the burden of proof is hard to meet.</p>
