This thread refers to the Duke MMS program at the Fuqua school. I am sorry in advance if this is not the right place...

I am applying to the MMS program to enter in 2012. I don't have much money and not a whole lot of full-time work experience. Although this is a graduate program so financial aid is different, my understanding is that some money is reserved for need-based scholarships if students apply early enough and demonstrate financial need. I have only one parent who makes sub-$40K a year so that'll be easy enough to demonstrate, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has gotten need-based OR merit-based scholarships for the MMS program to weigh in on what the possibilities for this might be. Below are my stats:

U-grad in social sciences at USNWR top 5 nat'l university (non-Ivy)
3.81 / 4.00 GPA
GMAT 720
Reasonably good extracurriculars in college, but mostly worked part-time because of aforementioned financial situations
Currently work in the software industry

(I am being deliberately vague, if you want more information, PM me)

Submitting my application to Fuqua by the Dec 21st deadline. Hoping to get some merit-based and/or need-based scholarships if I do get accepted. I think my stats and academic background could warrant that, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could put all this into perspective for me.
