I was accepted to both Duke University and Cooper Union for the mechanical engineering programs at their school, but I am having a hard time making a decision. I am leaning towards Cooper Union because it’s in an environment I’m more comfortable in (urban) and because it’s located near the place I used to live in, but of course, it may not have a superior engineering program compared to Duke. Could anyone give me suggestions is possible?
be prepared at cooper to not have a college experience at all. Lack of a true campus and basic facilities are not made up for by the lower tuition. And at $20,000 plus the most expensive housing and NO meal plan at all—nuff said.
Duke is an outstanding program.
I’d pick Duke unless cost is a huge issue
