<p>just throwing this out there, but the anthro FSP (foreign study program) at Dartmouth is in new zealand during winter term (summer there). </p>

<p>As a potential anthro major Dartmouth cannot be beat, if you add the FSP + the Goodman Scholarship (which isn't hard to get), you will get two terms of direct anthro experience abroad + a "reading course" which is a mini-thesis, plus a year long thesis opportunity with one-to-one dealings with a professor. Its amazing. Many of my best classes in anthro had less than ten people, so the focus is incredible. The two pre-med anthro major friends of mine ended up at Penn and Harvard med schools.</p>
