Duke University Endowment increases by $1B in most recent fiscal year

<p>During the fiscal year that concluded on 30 June 2104, the University's endowment increased to $7B -- the greatest in Duke's history -- from $6B on 30 June 2013. Endowed funds are principally used to provide need-based scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students. </p>
