Hey guys. I’m deciding between these two, for a Physics major. Both seem great, but very different.
What do you think?
There was an earlier thread on this sub a few weeks ago. One student was trying to decide between Univ College London (UCL) and Duke. I imagine the same points would go for Imperial vs Duke. Both are great schools, but it boils down to where you want to settle. Do you see yourself working in the US or in Europe?
Imperial for Europe. Duke for the US.
I will say this though, your college experience will be very different (and arguably better) at a place like Duke which has a real campus and big time athletics.
Interestingly enough, there has been a great deal of collaboration in the field of physics between Sir John Pendry at ICL and Dr. David R. Smith at Duke.
