Duke vs. Harvard/Princeton (Complicated)

for biomedical engineering, Duke is ranked #5, and Harvard doesn't make the top 50

Well, simply put, that's because Harvard doesn't have biomedical engineering. In fact, many schools don't. Even MIT doesn't have it; it has bioengineering, but not biomedical engineering. And even MIT's bioengineering program wasn't available for undergrads until 2 years ago.

"there are schools that have worse engineering programs than Harvard's"
I answered your question, you just want me to say that engineering programs worse than Harvard's suck too, well my guess (since I'm not familiar with all the engineering programs in the country nor do I have to be) is that most of them do.

Harvard has majors in computer science, biomedical sciences and engineering, electrical engineering and computer science, engineering physics, environmental sciences and engineering, mechanical and materials sciences and engineering, and applied math.

Actually, I want you to withdraw your original statement.

But, hey, if you want to stick with your new story that all those other engineering programs suck too, I suppose you could say that too. I just hope you realize that what you're saying is that the vast majority of engineers out there went to schools that you think "completely suck", as only a small fraction of engineers went to schools ranked higher in engineering than Harvard. I wonder very much if you're truly willing to voice that opinion publicly. I doubt that you'd have much of a career if you did.

Example:
You: "Hey, where did you study engineering?"
Your Coworker: "I went to Wayne State."
You: "I see. Well, I think your school completely sucks."

And exactly how familiar are you with Harvard's engineering program?

lol, just give up,"exactly how familiar are you with Harvard's engineering program" more familiar than you might think.

Just go to Harvard. It will be the best option for you. You don't seem to be sure about what you want to do, Harvard will allow you to change easily no matter what. Please go to Harvard.

Duke has one of the best BME programs in the country. That program alone surpasses those of Harvard and Princeton
