During Summer I or Summer II, what is the general # of courses people take? 2?

Summer sessions are usually 2 courses but you are in class twice as long, and learning the material at a faster pace, so two summer sessions = 1 semester (and this is also how financial aid is generally determined)

Yeah, two courses in the summer. You get half of a semester’s worth of your scholarships. Summer classes meet Monday through Thursday for 100 minutes, I believe? So you get Fridays off, which is nice!

So is the maximum amount of SH you can have (without paying extra) per summer session 9?

Well it’d be two normal classes plus required labs. So for most people that is just 8. But like, my first semester (in fall) I took a two credit lab, a one credit lab, a one credit honors course, and the one credit into to college course- so waaaay above the allowed amount. But because I HAD to take those courses, they don’t charge you extra. So if for some reason you are taking two summer classes that both have one credit labs, you can take 10 credits- but you can’t just add on a third class because you feel like it.
