What are all of you guys going to do to stay busy and forget about the apps?

EVERYTHING else in my life that I have had to put aside.

Ditto gabew42. UC applications were the bane of my existance because I already had no time to do anything other than what I was doing -- they even made me pull an all-nighter (to 3:30am!) just to makre sure they were finished.

I'm going back to studying for my classes, working full-time, and trying to sleep and eat and destress somewhere in there. I think May will come only soon enough.

Good Luck to you all. I guess you've got a little time to go until the admission results come up, so I think you guys are better off forgetting about and not stressing over them.

I actually started to work at a library and volunteering at a hospital after application time last year.

Same here. I'm looking for anything to distract me from thinking about those damned UC apps (be it productive or not)

I think I might even start studying for grad school test. Yah, I'm a nerd! hah

This thread may be better suited for late december when the semester is over (SINCE this ssemester WILL count in our apps). Until the semester is over we can still stress over our grades.

i'm gonna rent an airplane. go to kinkos print up a couple thousands sheets that say Admit Adam and fly my rented plane over UCLA a couple of times while throwing out all the sheets.

NO no it does not work that way Sandkicks.

You have to send a subliminal message. Instead of "Admit Adam"

Put Adam on the paper with a smily face :). That's all. SUBLIMINAL is the key.
