When i applied to another school, i got an email RIGHT AWAY saying they had received my CommonApp & Supplement. But i just applied to UVA and W&M and havent received anything..should I call to make sure or will my email arrive eventually? Anyone else not gotten emails yet?

Some schools send e-mails. Some schools don't. Don't bother them with your own e-mail; they'll be very busy over the next few days.

I'm worried too. The OP is referring to the emails that come directly from Common App, stating that "Submission of Supplement was successful" not the email that comes from the college with, for example, the school ID.

Me too, haven't gotten any e-mail from CommonApp????

yeah ive noticed that in the daytime they come back really quickly, but at night at especially in these wee hours they come back like hours later...

and actually something ive submited about 12 hours ago hasnt been sent back yet

I finally got the rest of the emails I was waiting for!
xingster, i guess wait 24 hours before starting to worry, because I just looked and on the FAQs it says it can take up to 24 hours.

but if it gets back like on 1/2, will that affect us on the deadline?

On the Commonapp itself, (near all the symbols like the green triangle) does everything say Submitted? If so, I think you should be fine, even if you haven't gotten an e-mail yet.
