<p>Some schools give you 2 chances to apply early AND be committed to attending. For instance, if you apply to School X early (ED, ED1 or EA), and are rejected or deferred, you could then apply to School Z ED2. If you are then accepted by School Z, you are committed to attend and must withdraw any other applications.</p>
