I applied in-state for Early Action and I know that there are obviously a lot of kids applying from in-state. However, I’m from very far up north in Michigan and I know their usual in-state applicants come from around the downstate/lower Michigan area. Since I’m from so far up north, and we are so underrepresented, would I have a little bit of a better chance? My counselor told us that there was a record 6 people applying this year from my school, so there definitely isn’t a lot of applicants. But because we are underrepresented, would there be a larger chance of us each getting in because we’re underrepresented or will they be more selective because there are more people than usual applying?
Did you look at the Naviance data of your school? That would give you some idea.
@billcsho how do you do that?
It seems you have talked to your GC already. He/she would have that info.
